if i talked to you about anything to do with the presidential race at any point in the last year, it probably had something to do with the fact that i KNEW people would vote for superficial reasons. i didn't bother with a long post on it, but this guy did. take a minute to read the whole thing.

don't get me wrong, i hope for the best in obama's administration, just like i hope everyone would. we could have an awesome four or eight years with him as president. but the fears that this other writer has expressed are legitimate, in my opinion. we just don't see it as much, since we live in the great melting pot that is california.
